Awards at the Made in Montana Tradeshow
Stonefly Studio, based in Billings, earned a Best in Show honorable mention at the 2025 Made in Montana Tradeshow. Montana Block, another family-owned Billings company, took the Best in Show New Exhibitor title at the March edition of the same event and appeared in the Montana Business Spotlight series run by the Secretary of State. These honors track directly to annual events that draw small producers from across the state to display goods in Billings.
In 2024 the city hosted the Small Business Administration administrator during National Small Business Week. Three Billings firms collected awards that year: Canvas Creek Team Building as Small Business Champion, Yarn Bar as Woman-Owned Business of the Year, and Graphic Finesse for the Young Entrepreneur Award.
