Billings Secures Funding for Major Road, Water, Airport Projects

The Billings Bypass project has three of its six phases complete as of 2026, according to project documents. The Johnson Lane Interchange construction is listed as tentatively anticipated to begin in late 2026, with overall completion set for 2027-2028.

Roadway and Parkway Projects

City records show the Billings Bypass as a six-phase arterial roadway project connecting I-90 in Lockwood to US 87 in Billings Heights. The same documents note that three phases are finished.
